Summer Time

                                                         'Summertime, and the living is easy 

                                                         Fish are jumping  

                                                        And the cotton is high '

This song came into my head while dozing in the sunshine looking up into the tree canopy at a flock of tits flying in and out of the pines.  The fish were certainly jumping in June, and the bracken is very high.

Most forestry work happens in the Winter and slows right down during the Summer, so August is a time to down tools and simply enjoy the wood, and the cabin.
